This little establishment is no longer here. Once known as Pinta pub on Karl Marx street in Sergiyev Posad, it has made room for a more market-friendly (obviously) Matryoshka cafe a couple of years ago, which in turned closed as the whole building got burned. But the recording remains, it would tell a lot of its glazed tile walls, echoey acoustics and its regulars on a Saturday night.

Hi Vladimir,
I confess that although I have spent a lot of time in Russia, I have never visited a Russian pub. Sadly, it looks as though my chance to visit this one has gone! Still, the sounds are not that different from a Parisian café – apart from the language of course.
keep up the good work!
